UNS A97050 Round Bars are composed of approximately 1.6–2.1% Zinc (Zn), 2.0–2.6% Magnesium (Mg), 0.20–0.40% Copper (Cu), 0.05–0.20% Chromium (Cr), 0.10–0.30% Manganese (Mn), and the remainder Aluminium (Al). These bars exhibit high strength due to their age-hardening T7451 temper, with a tensile strength of around 510–570 MPa (74,000–83,000 psi), yield strength of approximately 420 MPa (61,000 psi), and elongation of 10–12%. They also have a Brinell hardness of about 150 HB and a density of 2.81 g/cm³. Aluminium 7050 Round Bars are renowned for their excellent mechanical properties, making them ideal for aerospace and heavy-duty structural applications.
