Aluminium 1060 Chequered Plates are composed of high-purity aluminium, with a minimum aluminium content of 99.6%, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance, conductivity, and reflectivity. The alloy features trace amounts of iron (0.35%) and silicon (0.25%) for added strength. Aluminium 1060 has a tensile strength of 110–136 MPa and a yield strength of around 95 MPa, offering moderate strength with outstanding ductility. It has an elongation of 10–30%, allowing for easy forming and fabrication. Its lightweight nature and durability make it suitable for flooring, transportation, and decorative applications.
