Aluminium UNS A92014 Flat Bars are composed of approximately 94% aluminium, with added copper (around 4.4%) for enhanced strength and machinability. The alloy also contains small amounts of manganese, magnesium, and iron to improve its mechanical properties. It offers a tensile strength of around 310-390 MPa and a yield strength of approximately 240-310 MPa, making it one of the strongest commercially available aluminium alloys. The elongation rate is about 8-10%, which allows for good machinability and excellent structural integrity. Aluminium 2014 is widely used in aerospace and automotive applications due to its high strength and performance.
