Aluminium DIN 3.32206 Hexagonal Bars are composed primarily of aluminium, magnesium, and silicon. The typical chemical composition includes around 0.6-0.9% magnesium, 0.45-0.9% silicon, with small amounts of iron, copper, manganese, and zinc. This combination provides excellent mechanical properties such as high corrosion resistance, good weldability, and excellent anodizing quality. The tensile strength typically ranges from 200-240 MPa, with a yield strength of approximately 150-200 MPa, and an elongation percentage of about 10-12%. These bars are ideal for applications requiring moderate strength, good surface finish, and resistance to weathering and corrosion, making them suitable for architectural, structural, and automotive applications.
