Aluminium 5083 Square Bars are composed primarily of aluminium, with magnesium as a key alloying element (4-4.9%), making it highly resistant to seawater and marine environments. It also contains small amounts of manganese (0.4-0.9%), chromium (0.05-0.25%), and iron (0.4-0.7%). These elements enhance its strength and toughness while maintaining good weldability. Aluminium 5083 exhibits excellent mechanical properties, such as a yield strength of 165-195 MPa, tensile strength of 280-325 MPa, and an elongation of 12-22%.
